Derek Kuebeck started his carpentry journey at just five years old with the Medina Pioneers 4-H Club in Lenawee County, Michigan, where he first learned woodworking working alongside his Grandpa Johnston. He continued developing his skills throughout childhood and young adulthood, laying a strong foundation for his career. In 2009, Derek began working under a professional licensed carpenter in Dorchester County, Maryland, where he continued to refine his craft with a simple goal: to build things the right way. Today, as the owner of Cowboy Carpentry, LLC, Derek is driven by the unique opportunity to bring people’s dreams to life—whether it’s a custom home, renovation, or outdoor project.
Having worked across a wide range of styles and settings—from modern builds to farm-style projects, and from urban environments to rural properties—Derek brings versatility and experience to every job. He understands that no two clients are the same and takes pride in meeting the unique needs, wants and desires of each one.
His work is rooted in true craftsmanship, honest labor, and a commitment to building quality structures designed to stand the test of time and last for generations.
